Blister Lake

Blister Lake is a map in Hardware: Rivals.

Description[]

Top secret, extraplanetary vehicular research station. Crash reported. Containment protocols initiated.

Special Weapon: Airstrike[]

A group of planes will bombard the entirety of the map within 30 seconds, destroying every vehicle on the ground. To avoid being destroyed, get into the underground bunker. The bunker's blast doors start to shut when the countdown reaches 7, so be quick.

Spawn Locations[]

In the bunker.
On the ledge of Hangar 18, against the control tower.
On the ledge of Cargo Bay 01, near the Long Reach ramp.

Challenges[]

Bunker Run
- Description: Get through the storage bunker under Hangar 18.
- Overview: Drive through the underground bunker as fast as possible.
Hard Air
- Description: It's all about hang time! Stay airborne for as long as possible.
- Overview: Perform a jump off any ramp and stay airborne for as long as possible, then land perfectly.
Long Reach
- Description: Execute a clean jump off the ramp outside Cargo Bay 01.
- Overview: Perform a jump off the ramp near Cargo Bay 01 and land perfectly at as far as possible.
Quick-Fire
- Description: Quickest time to get 5 Kills.
- Overview: Destroy five enemy vehicles as quickly as possible.
Pick-Up Rush
- Description: Shortest time to pickup 5 Rockets.
- Overview: Collect five Rockets pickups as quickly as possible.
Quick Draw
- Description: Most Kills within 60 seconds (minimum 3).
- Overview: Destroy as many enemy vehicles as possible within 60 seconds; you must score at least three Kills.
Survivor
- Description: Destroy as many opponents' vehicles as you can before they destroy you.
- Overview: Destroy as many enemy vehicles in a row as possible without dying.
Vertigo
- Description: Complete a full circuit of the roof of Hangar 18 as quickly as possible.
- Overview: Drive around the roof of Hangar 18 as fast as possible.

Tips[]

You can get onto the control tower for a Heavy Missile pickup.
The inside of Hangar 18 has a Laser pickup over the flying saucer.
Try getting inside of the hangars for interesting pickups.

Trivia[]

This map is based on the Hardware: Online Arena map "Area 51".
This map was one of the three maps featured in the Beta, along with Jackson's Pit and the Lost Temple.
This map is also the location where Combat Driver Training takes place.
